My name is Julie S. Nagata. I was raised in Hawaii and moved to Colorado in 1984 to attend Colorado State University. I live for my pets; 2 dogs and 3 cats: "Buddha", a Shar-Pei that runs my house; "Pain", a Border Collie Mix that is happiest with a ball on the run; "Gordo", an orange tabby cat; "Kihei", a gray tiger cat and "Mama Kitty" a gray cat. I also have had the pleasure of raising a domestic rabbit, Mr. Sato.

As you can see I love pets of all sorts. I have experienced many different kinds of situations with many different pets. While growing up, my friends and family thought I was a little crazy because I would do anything to help out an animal in need. I spent most of my allowances taking animals I found to the Veterinarian.

As I started my business, I did a lot of research. Most of my acquired knowledge came from people who have had many years of experience with animals. I have several people to thank for helping me start my business.

First of all Dr. Cross who is the Owner/Veterinarian of Friendship Hospital for Animals, if it wasn't for her faith and trust in me I probably wouldn't of started my business. Deb Glazer, a person with many years of experience not only in Pet Sitting but also in how to succeed in the Pet Sitting business. She was the owner of Colorado Critter Care. She has been my guiding angel. I would never have learned as much about Pet Sitting if it weren't for her. Kim Holley, a great friend and a great supporter. With her support I was able to get my dream to a reality. My best friend Dora has always helped me in good times and bad. I thank you for always being there. Lastly, my Mom. She made me believe that I can do it! This is for her!!

This business deals with providing quality care for pets and their family. As a pet owner you know how important pets are. Your pets are your kids, part of the family and we should treat them as such. You know how you would like your pets cared for while you are away. That is how we will ALWAYS treat the pets we have in our care. You can be assured that we will care for your pets like you would if you were home.
